Ok, so I just have to take a moment to rave about my new Exergen temporal scanner thermometer. This thing is a God send! I used to use a ear thermometer, but I always got wildly different readings, so I took 3 readings in each ear. Yes, that is 6 readings while holding my child's ear. Which, as you can imagine, she hated. I would then sort of roughly average the results and get an 'idea' of what temp she was running. Ridiculous. But slightly better than the underarm readings I had done prior to that.
I recently read a post on this nifty device on my multiples blog, and shortly after that I saw my nurse at the pediatricians use it on all of my small bears. The nurse said they were much, much more accurate than the ear thermometers, and recommended them. She said I could get them at Walgreens and Walmart, and so I did. And thank God I did, 'cause now all the small bears are sick!
I get very consistent results with this thermometer. Usually within a tenth or two between immediately taken readings. Its super easy, and very comfortable. I highly recommend it to moms with little ones.

I'm sorry they are all sick. :( I hope they all feel better soon and that you don't pass it around the house a few times. That thermometer looks great. I'll have to look into it. AJ is enjoying seeing all of the pictures of the bears. And we are, too.
